PKS Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!  I have had quite the week.  I originally made this card for a challenge at the Peachy Keen Connection.  However, on Saturday, my toilet decided to break and I ended up with an inch of standing water in my bathroom.  Oh how the water quickly spread to my bedroom, living room and hallway.  Luckily, my sister and brother-in-law were at my house to help clean up.  I do not know what I would have done without their help.  They were awesome!  However, I had to call in some professionals and will need some new carpet.
On to my card.  The base was cut at 5"x6.5".  The oval and scallop came from the Silhouette store and the cute little deer is an SVG from My Scrap Chick.  I distressed the edges of the card and deer and added some glossy accents to the eyes.

  1. Oh my goodness...what a darling card! That little reindeer is just cute as can be. So sorry to hear about your plumbing issues...what a mess! I had a toilet to overflow from UPSTAIRS a few years ago. Didn't know it had happened until we heard the water pouring into the room below it...so I feel your pain!

plumbing issues are no fun, been there done that, don't want to visit again, or get the T-shirt, just a bad reminder, mine was also the upstairs bathroom, twice, once the toilet, then the tub, yuck, what a mess!! And hardwood floors below, sooo not good at all!
