Make a wish

Good morning everyone!  I am finally getting around to posting some of the cards I have made in the last few months.  This adorable shaker card was made for my sister's birthday.  I have containers of buttons that have been sitting in my craft stash.  I finally found a use for some of them.  I cut a circle with my silhouette out of Kraft and cut a ring to fit around it out of some patterned paper. I layered the card stock with acetate and some patterned paper with buttons and glitter in the middle.  The balloon die cuts came from My Creative Time and were cut with my Sizzix Big Kick.  I added some twine for the balloon strings and stitching.

Items Used
My Creative Time: Polka dot surprise and Stitched party dies
Twine
Pop dots
Acetate
Buttons

You & Me

Hello everyone!  I have a quick card to share with you this evening.  I made it earlier this month for my husband.  We celebrated 9 years of marriage!  Time flies, it is doesn't seem possible to have been married for 9 years already. :)  This card was super simple and easy to make.  I used dies from My Creative Time and everything was cut with my Sizzix Big Kick. I added some stitching around the edges and popped up the hearts. Easy peasy!

The card I am sharing with you today I made for a good friend of mine who recently got married.  It was super quick to make.  The adorable hearts were cut with my Vegabond from dies that came from My Creative Time.  As for the sentiment, it also is from one of Miss Emma's stamp sets and the sequins came from Neat and Tangled.

Valentine's Day

Hello and happy Monday!  I decided to do something a little different for Valentine's Day this year.  I bought Miss Emma's Build a Postcard set forever ago but had not yet had a chance to play with it.  So, instead of sending cards this year I made some postcards to send out.  This also gave me the perfect chance to play with the newest release from My Creative Time.  I absolutely LOVE all of her stuff!  Super easy to put together!  Here are the two different postcards I made:

Items Used:
My Creative Time: Fun Airplane Die, Plane and Simple Stamp Set, 4x4 Journal Die, Stitched Cartoon Clouds, 4x6 Journal Die

Happy birthday Jordan!

Good morning everyone!  I have a super quick card to share with you.  Today is my son's birthday.  I am never a big fan of making cards for boys.  However, the boys in my house LOVE Starwars.  Jaded Blossom had a Starwars blog hop awhile back and I thought this was the perfect time to use the free files! The card base came from the Silhouette store.  Everything was cut with my Cameo, super quick and easy!

PKS Leaves Challenge

Hello everyone!  I got a chance to do some crafting today and decided to use some of my Peachy Keen stamps that have been sitting in my closet just waiting to be used.  I colored the entire card with Copics.  The leaves are dies from My Creative Time. I cut them out on white card stock and then colored them with Copics.  Some of the leaves are blended better than others but that's ok. :)  To finish the card up, I added some glossy accents to the puppy's eyes and paws.  I just love that little puppy, so cute!

Happy Birthday Bryson!

Hello everyone!  It has been forever since I have had any time to do anything crafty.  Things have been a bit crazy around here.  Here is the shortened version, my husband has safely returned from his year long deployment.  I am finishing up my last clinical and studying for my boards.  Other than that, we are adjusting to having our family back under the same roof.  It is such a nice feeling!

One of my good friend's son is turning one in about a week.  His birthday party is next weekend and the theme is down on the farm.  I thought this was a perfect time to pull out my Peachy Keen stamp of the month from May that I have not had time to play with.  Here is the photo in which I took the color inspiration from:

I colored the adorable little cow with Copic markers and the balloon was cut out with my silhouette.  I added some twine for the balloon string, glossy accents to the eyes and chalk for the cheeks.  So easy!

Superhero Badges

Hello everyone!  I have some super simple cards to share with you today.  Since I have some free time, I am trying to make some projects ahead of time so they are done and out of the way.  These cards were so easy to make.  The files came from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  I offset the shape of the badge and then welded it together to make a shape card.  As for the rest of it, I just cut it out with my Cameo and heat embossed the sentiment.  So simple!

I'm a Love Pirate...

Hello everyone!  It has been so long since I have gotten any time to craft but I finally got some today.  Things have been crazy with my husband deployed, school, work and all the home emergencies that keep happening.  Even though my time is limited right now, it has not stopped me from buying supplies.  I had both Jaded Blossom and My Creative Time supplies just waiting to be used!  I got my chance today!  I made this card to send to my husband who is currently overseas.  When I saw the Cheesy Pick Ups from Jaded Blossom, I knew I wanted them.  They are so much fun!

PKS 3-D Bears

Hello everyone!  I have a little home decor project to share with you today.  It was super easy to throw together.  I found that cute little bucket at Michaels and knew I wanted to do something with it.  The adorable bear is from Peachy Keen's add on sets for January's SOTM.  I colored him with Copics and added some glossy accents to his eyes.  The hearts and flowers are dies from MCT.  I sprayed the flowers with perfect pearls but it is hard to tell in the picture.  I think this will make a perfect addition to my holiday decorations!

Quick & Easy Tutorial

Hello everyone!  I have two very simple cards and a tutorial to share with you today.  While browsing Pintrest, I came across a tutorial from Bugjuiced.  The instructions are on her blog but essentially all you do is cut the layers, stamp, and then pop them up!  So simple, but it makes such a cute card!  The kraft card stock layers were cut at the following sizes; 5.5 x 4", 4.5 x 3.25", and 3.5 x 2.25".  The white card stock layers were cut at the following sizes; 5.25 x 3.75", 4.25 x 3", and 3.25 x 2".  Once the layers are cut, stack the white layers together.  I used a tiny bit of adhesive to hold them in place while I stamped.  Once that's done, take apart the white layers and adhere them to the colored card stock.  Then use pop dots to adhere the layers together.  These cards I made to send overseas to my husband.  I have sent a lot of care packages but have been slacking when it comes to sending cards.  The stamp sets I used are from My Creative Time, 100% Sweetness and Lots of Love.

Lots of Peachy Keen Goodness

Hello everyone!  I have had lots of craft time this weekend!  It was fabulous!  Plus, I got happy mail from My Creative Time on Saturday and couldn't resist to play with her latest release, so cute!  The two cards I have to share with you are for Peachy Keen's Anything Goes challenge and the "use anything new" challenge at the Peachy Keen Connection. The cute little bear is an SVG from Scrapping Bug Designs.  I added some stickles, chalk and an adorable Peachy Keen face.  I made my own background paper by randomly stamping stamps from Emma's new release and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  The squares are Spellbinders which I bought black Friday and had not used yet.  It has taken me a long time to buy any but I love them!

For my next card, we had to use something new.  Almost everything in this card was new to me.  The circles are Spellbinders that I had not used yet, the background stamp and image stamp I bought the last time Peachy Keen had a sale.  I love that cute little cupid!  The cupid was colored with Copics and stickles were added to the cloud, wings, and halo.  The flag die came from My Creative Time.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
